Current rate of tax
Luxury tax on room tariff: 12.5%
VAT on food charges : 12.62%
Food Element Rate:
Break fast - Rs.200/- + tax
Lunch / Dinner - Rs.300/- + tax
- Extra person: 20% of the room rent on Double Occupancy basis and Child rate 10% of the room rent on double occupancy basis.
NB:
- The tariff and tax structure are subject to periodical revision, hence please reconfirm it before making reservation.
- Guests are requested to reach Periyar House before 3.00 pm to board the last boat trip for wildlife watching.
- Entry to Periyar Sanctuary will be closed by 5.00 pm. Hence please ensure to reach inside the sanctuary before 5.00 pm.
- Guests of Periyar House are advised to reserve the seats for boating in advance (subject to availability) for various schedules on payment basis.
